Departmental Restructuring

During a departmental restructure, organizations often merge teams, rename departments, or shift employees across various roles. The Group Master plugin simplifies the management of groups during departmental restructures. It provides administrators with the ability to:

1. Rename groups: Update the name of a group (e.g., reflecting the new name of a department or team) across the Confluence instance without disrupting existing configurations.

2. Move or copy group members: Effortlessly move or copy users between groups, ensuring that employees have the correct permissions in their new roles. This avoids the need to manually reconfigure user permissions for each individual.

3. Preserve group usage: The plugin ensures that group usage, including project roles and permissions, remains intact even after renaming groups or moving members between them.
