As a user, you may notice certain changes resulting from the cleanup of user data in your Jira instance. For example, if you see hash values instead of usernames in comments, this is due to the cleanup that was performed for the current user. It is important to note that working with UDC and performing cleanup processes is restricted to administrators only; normal users do not have access to these functions.
