Group Master provides a simple and efficient interface for managing groups and executing essential group-related actions. As a Jira administrator, you can ensure that groups and their members are well-organized and aligned with your administrative policies, as follows:
Search for existing groups: In the Manage Groups section, quickly search for any existing group using the search bar.
Use available actions: Once a group is selected, choose the desired action from the dropdown menu. Available actions include:
View Usage: See detailed information about where the group is used throughout the Jira instance.
Delete: Permanently remove the group from the system, including its associated usage data.
Rename: Edit the group’s name for better clarity or organization.
Copy Usage: Duplicate the group's usage data for other purposes, like migration or replication.
Copy & Move Members: Transfer or copy members between different groups, making team restructuring effortless.
Audit Log for Group Actions: Every action performed through Group Master is automatically recorded in the Audit Log, which can be accessed for troubleshooting, compliance, or record-keeping purposes.
