Both editions include every sync feature. They differ in three things: how often scheduled pull can run, whether the Sync Trigger API (push and pull from Jira automation or other services) is included, and how long sync history is kept. The exact limits for each edition are on License Editions.
Choose Advanced if changes on the other site must come back within minutes, if you start syncs from automation, or if you need a year of sync history. A trial includes every Advanced feature, but pulls only once a day.
