Project & Version

In Q12-TMT, a tester works in a Project or a Subproject, in a given Version.
The selected (Sub)Project and Version are always displayed on top of the page. In this documentation, “project” includes subprojects unless stated otherwise.

The selected Project and the Version are always displayed at the top of the page. Next to the Project and Version, the following buttons appear:

  • Help: dropdown menu with a link to User guide

  • About: dropdown menu with version information, tenant URL and release number

  • Profile: dropdown menu with the user profile information

  • Q12-TMT Link: opens the Q12-TMT tenant URL in a new tab

A new Version can be created for each release of the software to be tested. Test Suites and Test Cases are copied to be re-used in the new Version, unlike Test Runs, as the test execution is bound to a specific Version.

Only users with an administrator role can create new projects.

The feature is currently only available in the Q12-TMT application.
