Test Execution

When executing a Test Case, you can assign a tester by choosing the drop-down field just below the title.

In the “Attachments” section, add evidence such as screenshots or log files to show what happened during the test.

A result can be selected for each individual test step. It is not necessary to maintain test step results to set the overall result.

Use the thumbs up button on the right-hand side of each step to mark it as passed with a
single click. A custom result can be entered with a click on the button next to the prior one. When a custom result is attached, an information icon will appear next to the test step result, showing the
content by hovering over it. Thus, errors can be located very quickly, and they can be documented by useful information, e.g. the error message.

In the “Overall Test Result” section, you can change the result, link a Defect (Ticket) and add a result detail. The result of this section is displayed in the Test Scope and Test Case selection overview.
