Attachments

You can upload documents and images and attached them to Projects, Versions, Test Suites, Test Cases, and Test Runs.

Files can be inserted specifically into certain text fields, with the rich text editor like in Descriptions, Preconditions, Test Steps, Result details.

Files can also be uploaded in the attachment section of the business object, to be reference in a rich text editor field when relevant.

Rich Text Editor

Click “Insert Attachment” to reference a file already added to the Attachments section:

Click “Insert Image” to directly select an image from your computer. The image added directly here will also be listed in the Attachments section.

In the Rich Text Editor, images are displayed in a reduced size and the other files are referenced with a link on the file name.

Added attachments are listed in a table with a preview (for image) or type icon and information about file name, upload date, and the user responsible for the upload. The "Referenced" column gives an information whether the attachment is in use or not in a text field. All columns of the attachment list are sortable by clicking on the corresponding header.
