Locking

To maintain consistency and prevent conflicts, Q12-TMT locks Test Suites, Test Cases, and other objects when they are being worked on. Only one user can edit, move or deleting an object at a time in one browser tab.

For all other users or the system, these functions are temporarily locked. With "system," the background processes are meant, which are triggered by individual functions or by mass processing.

If an operation cannot be completed because the Test Cases are locked, an info message will appear at the top of the screen. Additional details about the lock can be viewed by hovering the lock symbol.

The lock remains in place for a period of 120 minutes of inactivity. A notification message appears 15 minutes before it expires.
